We like to be flexible in our approach to all our coaching experiences. You can choose from a half-day or a full day with us. For more details on the areas of driving development we cover, click here. Many of the techniques we employ are detailed in 'Roadcraft', which can be bought in all good bookshops. For a newcomer to advanced driving techniques, this could be seen as rather dry reading, but when you book a course with us, we'll send you our Essential Road Craft Notes which distils all the most important parts of the System of Car Control (Driving Plan) into an easily digestible starter pack. |

Cadence can build a course that suits your needs and goals using a combination of on road training and on track time. On Road
Our driving courses are aimed at increasing your levels of awareness, anticipation and hazard perception. We like to have an informal approach where we work with you to bring your latent skills to the surface. Our aim is to establish a comfortable and enjoyable environment and ensure you go away from a session with self-coaching skills – when you subsequently drive alone, you will then be able to work out and apply the most appropriate techniques for yourself. We want you to be the only person responsible for your safety, using observation and planning to prevent incidents happening, rather than reacting when they do! On Track
Rather than having only 15 minutes of glory on a track day with a race instructor, you could spend the whole day with one of our highly experienced track coaches sat alongside, really building your skills and confidence in your abilities. You could even split the instruction with a friend or friends, giving you time to practise on your own between instructional sessions. Pro rata, this is a more cost-effective way of improving your track techniques and lets you get the most out of an expensive track day. If you'd rather not share a track with other enthusiasts of differing abilities, one of the best ways to build your techniques in a similar environment but with greater safety is to experience sprinting where it's just you against yourself. We regularly arrange either single or group sessions at a superbly technical sprint course - combine the day with use of our datalogging equipment which will show just how much improvement you've made. |

It’s a sobering fact that new drivers are particularly vulnerable to a disproportionately higher than average risk of crashing within the first two years of driving. The team at Cadence has been working closely with new drivers, in particular with new, younger drivers – in an effort to understand why their risk is higher and how we could do something to assist in reducing these alarming statistics. |
